DS Flashfiction Stats III (Hourglass)
Jun. 23rd, 2003 10:56 pmFor my own edification, I'm slowly going through the postings in
ds_flashfiction and databasing stats about the stories that appeared therein -- see the previous entry if you want to know the stats for the first challenge, this will cover stats for the second challenge ("Hourglass" comprising stories between 4/30 and 5/6).
( More about those stats.... )
I'm thinking of holding back on the accumulated stats until I've got Challenge IV completely entered -- Challenge V is actually finished. It takes a couple hours to do each challenge, because I've got to read through each one -- yeah, tough work that. I've got to say... there is a lot of really good reading there. Really, the overall quality of these stories, both from a quantitative level of grammar and spelling, plus the more qualitative "fun reading" factor, is astounding.
