Oct. 13th, 2003 07:08 pmI'm alive! Really! I just went away for the weekend -- down to NJ to see my Mom and my aunt & uncle at their beach house near Point Pleasant -- hence the not getting online at all for a while here.
(Okay, I begged time on my uncle's laptop twice, but it was just to check mail and some messages on the Buffista board. Hit & run.)
When I got home this afternoon I went out to the backyard and sat until it turned into twilight. Saw two Vees of migrating geese go by overhead, honking like their hearts were in it. The hills between here and NJ are starting to turn, so that every single tree is a different shade of green or yellow or red or rust or brown -- how there can be so many different shades, I don't know!
I'll be back later with some more coherent thoughts... I hope. If I'm not coherent, at least I'll be back with thoughts, anyway.
