Still in Progress
Aug. 19th, 2003 11:56 pmTwo paragraphs from the I Can't Believe It's Going On This Long Body Switch story:
“I attempted to brace Francesca on the subject of the misplaced paperwork when she came out earlier,” said Fraser. “But she stated she was in a ‘tearing hurry’ and said, when I asserted that it was very important, that she’d see about it later. She seemed very nervous, and I wondered if perhaps she had unconsciously noticed that Detective Vecchio seemed a bit… off.”
“You’re doing the best you can,” I said. “And it sounds like she’s kind of preoccupied.” I reflected that if Fraser was used to the kind of reception that Frannie usually gave him, the sisterly sass she usually gave me would seem pretty cold by comparison. I wasn’t exactly looking forward to getting the full-blast Francesca “I’m In Heat, Ask Me How” Vecchio treatment that she usually gave Fraser – it was like one of those prairie chickens on that nature show, only with a shorter skirt and red lipstick.
