1. What vehicle do you drive?
2-door 1994 Honda Civic EX, with 62K on the odometer, and a stick shift to make driving more interesting.
2. How long have you had it?
Bought it in... um 1996 or 1997 (I'd have to look back in my journals). I usually take public transportation to work, hence the relatively low mileage for a 9yo car. I was working as a contractor when I bought it, so it was more 'necessary' then, since I didn't have the luxury of knowing that I'd be able to take the subway or whatever.
3. What is the coolest feature on your vehicle?
The electronic gizmo that locks/unlocks the door. I wish I had one that would let me start the car and set the heater on high for cold winter mornings. :-)
4. What is the most annoying thing about your vehicle?
It's an above-average econobox. I got spoiled by my previous car, an Audi 5000, which had adjustable leather bucket seats (with memory!), 'temperature control' (not just AC/Heater), a huge back seat, a five-inline engine with serious pickup....
I'm making myself somewhat depressed. The Honda is paid for, you know. Every year that I have it -- for a car that I use only on weekends, mostly -- is pure gravy financially. Also I park on the street, and you want a beater for that. <sigh>
5. If money were no object, what vehicle would you be driving right now?
I'd have a three-car heated garage with a Mercedes or Saab or Volvo, a Mini Cooper, and a Toyota Land Cruiser.
You did say money was no object, right?
