On Thursday I handed my license to my brother so he could show some proof he was authorized to pick up a prescription for me at the CVS, since I was still too sick to go out at that point. He gave back the receipt, the map to the CVS, the change and the license to me, and I absent-mindedly stuck it in my pocket.
(Cue the sinister music.)
Later, I somehow managed to put away everything but the license away properly. Did I get distracted? Was there an excess of cold medicine running around my brain? Did I have my wallet in another room, and meant to go get it?
Tearing through everything brought back from PA seems to be enough Stupidity Tax, and probably is amusing enough for everyone else, too.
