And off to the bookstore, finally?

Oh, my best laid plans never pan out, at least in the face of my exhaustion. If I could have gone to Pandemonium, the excitement might have carried me onward, but staying home and watching Dr. Who didn't excite me enough to counteract the yawning and incipient slumber a little bit after 10 PM.

I think I may have sprained something emotionally-wise during the day with the daunting news about more power grabs by BushCo, which is daily turning into a very real dictatorship. Even though you'd think that escaping into a fantasy world where the hero has at least a chance to effectively Oppose Identifiable Evil would at least help a little there.

Anyway, my reserved book should still be reserved, so I shall slink into Porter Square Books this morning and pick it up. Maybe this way I shall be AWAKE for the reading that will commence today....

I watched Dr. Who (on DVD) and then headed to sleep rather than people watch at the local bookstore, too. :-)
