I have to run away to Readercon, but in the meantime, here's the very few pictures I took on the Zire while in Maine. More details later, if you want....
Rainbow! Over a field of stones!
Such a great greeting for my trip to Maine -- a really picturesque drive with grand vistas like this. This rainbow was a complete arc that my little camera wasn't good enough to capture.... |

Bonus Rainbow!
Note the faint secondary rainbow just above the primary? |
 |
My Car From Underneath
One sight I didn't expect to see this vacation, my car up on a lift getting a tired replaced, since I came to grief only three miles from my goal. |
 |
Cabin Interior
Looking into the Big Room, which is about the size of my first floor. Beyond the glass wall is a view of the bay through a gap in the fir trees. |
 |
Mussels everywhere
The beachcombing was pretty prime, at least if you like mussel shells... actually, there were a whole lot of interesting shells, but my eye was caught by the piles and piles of HUGE mussel shells all washed high up on the beaches. |
 |
The bridge home
Construction on the bridge to the mainland slowed traffic, so I was able to take this picture from my driver's seat while I waited. |
 |
Waiting For A Sign
Just after I snapped this, the guy caught me taking his picture and grinned. |
