50 Books in 2007

Eight Days took me significantly less than that to finish, but then it's like the third time I've read it, I think. But it was long enough ago that I wasn't remembering too many details, and I think I enjoyed it more than the last time. There's an upside to having a sievelike brain.

My next read is Rachel Manija Brown's All The Fishes Come Home To Roost, which I've had for about two years now. I got to read some of the original versions of chapters over at gm.net back in the day. She is so very cool, and surprisingly together, given her chaotic childhood. (Retroactively, they remind me in a sense of the family in Little Miss Sunshine, only if that family had been Meher Baba worshippers.)

12. Castle in the Air, Diana Wynne Jones
11. On Writing, Stephen King.
10. The Merlin Conspiracy, Diana Wynne Jones
