In other news, I seem to be writing more from the Transvestite!Ray story for the current

ds_flashfiction challenge ("Curtains" --how's that for flexibility?), just for the joy of it. As I was saying to

veejane, I seem to have discovered a kink which I did not previously know I possessed.

It doesn't hurt that, upon reflection, it came to me that Miss Butchie is played by Carmen Argenziano (Stargate's Major General Jacob Carter (ret.), AKA Sam's father) and is a retired Mountie himself. I also 'discovered' that Depot has a long and hallowed tradition of drag shows -- left over from when it as an all-male institution in the 1800s, of course. It makes sense that Fraser would have learned to do full-out drag somewhere

(I also realize that all that I know about the RCMP is 3/4s from due South and 1/4 from Dudley Do-Right. So, drag shows at the Mountie training academy? Sure, why not? It's not like I have a whole bunch of facts to slow me down....)
