Incidently, no matter what it sounds like, I'm not poking Muppet with a fork or similar torture device, or even pinching her -- I'm just stroking her on the Forbidden Zone, the saddle-shaped area near the base of her tail. She's just very particular about where you touch her, but is too lazy to more than vocalize about it.

Or maybe the noise-making area of her brain is wired directly to that portion of the spine. I wouldn't put it past her.
