Waves Ribbon Scarf detail Nothing I've tried makes this beautiful scarf-in-progress come out right on film. Hopefully I'll have some sunlight tomorrow that will be bright enough to show it off! This uses some beautiful hand-dyed nylon ribbon yarn I got from aviatrix18, with this wavy pattern that involves multiple yarn-overs so that you get long flat threads in a regular pattern that waves up and down, yet is very secure -- and it shows off the dappled purple-blue color and sheen of the ribbon finish so very well. This is going to be stunning when it's done. If only it showed off on film as well as it does in real life....

She is also very soft -- technically, I'd call her a fluffy shorthair. She jumped up beside me on the sofa this morning and purred away.

That reminds me, I finished one of the Log Cabin crocheted baby blankets in the ER last night. I'm quite pleased with it. Hopefully my cousins baby will enjoy it.

OOH! What a good idea for the ribbon yarn. There's nothing wrong with stunning - you know. :) I can see a bit of the pattern in the picture if I look closely.

Muppet looks gorgeous too.

We got a nice sheep skin rug from our neighbors. Sadly it went out into the trash tonight because Mischief and Rascal decided to use it to mark territory.
