Wah!
Wow, my legs (specifically the back of my thighs, mostly) have been aching like a bitch today -- from when I woke up. I lasted through the morning, I lasted through the afternoon sitting at a table with my friends playing GURPS, but on the 45 minute drive home, I realized I was gritting my teeth and holding my breath every time we went over a bump, which is a bit too much pain.
So instead of a week, I lasted 6 days without OTC painkillers -- so to speak I'm back in the embrace of sweet sweet acetaminophen, and I can already feel it working, forty-five minutes later.
I'm sorry I couldn't wait it out a whole week, but there's a difference between stubborn and stupid.
I think I overdid the stretching on yoga on Wednesday -- we did a whole lot of leg stuff. Then my chiropractor did some more resistance stretching in hopes of working out the aches, only instead it rebounded on me today. I'll have to decide tomorrow whether or not I go to class in the morning.
In other news... it snowed here today. And much to my surprise, it's actually sticking, on the trees that are still full of green leaves. And I was just getting used to the idea that it was really FALL -- seriously, as I was driving out to Acton, with all the trees along Route 2 in various stages of turning, I was thinking that at last I wasn't startled to see the fall colors.
