Woohoo iTunes!

Heh. Through the Apple Store, I'm buying/downloading my first episode of Lost. I feel all legal and proud.

Wow! I just did a presentation on that yesterday in class. I had no idea iTunes was offering that yet.

Yeah, they moved on it pretty fast! I may not have a Video iPod, but I could play the episode just fine on my iBook, so I win!

I did that earlier today, but I could only get audio, no video. Let me know if it works for you.

I noticed a new button at the bottom of the iTunes window, which switched it to video mode. However, if you just open the file in Quicktime, you'll get the usual controls. Plus I found that the quality (at half the usual size I get through BitTorrent) was just fine!

Wow.

So, question. If you can download video now, now that you've bought it, can you burn it to a dvd or CD or sommat?

I'm going to try that next. It makes sense you could back it up at least, since that's what you can do with MP3s.
