Ah, the smell of Autumn!
I turned on the heat this morning. So the house smells like hot irons.
Went to Serenity last night, and for a third viewing, the movie really holds up -- it didn't hurt that some of the action scenes were really tightened up, and some of the dialogue was made easier to understand. Tweaked in a good way, in other words, and the soundtrack was much improved, too, so that it helped build the tension, et cetera.
I was so late getting back from the dealership that I said "Screw it!" and drove my car to the Back Bay -- parked in the Common Garage, which was conveniently nearby the theatre. $10 for parking may seem stiff, but it was infinitesimal compared to what I'd spent and/or borrowed earlier. I've an urge to spend even more, when you've splurged like this, suddenly $200 here or there doesn't seem like so much, you know?

Fall is the best time of year here, really. Though you shouldn't envy me my heating bills!
The new car hasn't gotten old yet. :-)
