sowilo's LJ...
Three months ago I was writing about visiting Old Sturbridge Village with
snacky -- hard to believe it was that long ago! (As soon as I have a car, I'd better go out there again -- anyone interested in coming along as my guest?)
Six months ago, I was writing about it being a year since
kathlaw's suicide, and marvelling over all the life that had gone on since. This summer I stood at the observation point on Mt. Lemmon where her ashes were scattered and said a silent hello.
Nine Months ago, it was my birthday, which wasn't so great with the presents, but I conspired with Mom's best friend to take Mom out to shop for a CD player for her, under the guise that I needed to buy it for my roommate, so that I could get Mom's input on which would be the easiest to operate. Hee. It's not entirely a bad birthday if you can get your Mom a present she really doesn't expect.
One Year ago, I was writing about my cat Muppet, who has her little household rituals that she expects the humans to honor. She still does all of them.
Two Years ago, I wrote about hearing "It Takes A Worried Man To Sing a Worried Song" on KDRadio, which still is a wonderful random jukebox. However, I've mostly been listening to iTunes at work of late, partly because the newsfeed they have on that station is one of the most jingoistic you can imagine.
Three Years ago -- no, no LJ for me then.
