More Knitting and Cats

I'm beginning to think I may just have to change the name of my journal to Knitting & Cats. Honestly, my life has plenty of fannish content, I'm just not talking about it much these days!

Orenberg Detail

Here is a much better picture of the detail of the lace knitting, and also you can see the variation in the colorway some -- there's a dark blue, a purple and a sort of light brown. Plus it's mohair fuzzy but silky-soft AND it crushes up possibly thin enough to be drawn through a ring.

Orenberg & Chumley

As soon as I laid the partially completed scarf out on the bed so I could take a picture, who comes running up but Chumley, who leaps on the bed and immediately floops down on the scarf and starts kneading. Is he Satan in a fuzzy stripey suit or what?

Anyway, I promise some fannish content soon. Really!

*chuckles over Chumley's behavior*

I hope he didn't damage your lovely scarf!

That is VERY VERY pretty! =>}

I knit a shawl with wool something like that for my Mum on very large needles. White. She used it for our son's wedding this weekend. I'm pretty sure you could draw it through a ring. =>}

I didn't even have to read the caption/ext. I saw the VERY plump kitty and knew it had to be Chumley.

Oh, so pretty. The knitting and the cat.

I miss having a cat. So much. I'm not allowed pets.
