Why I Quite Like Where I Work, #346

... on the internal BB, where people post for sales and local info, somebody asked if anybody had bolt cutters, because she'd lost the key to the lock on her bike. A lively discussion evolved as to the best way to get it off, and somebody suggested a Sawzall (which is a kind of buzzsaw for metal), and was enthusiastically seconded by a bunch of toolheads. And then one guy summed the discussion up:

To a man with a Sawzall, everything looks like it needs to be cut into pieces.

Truly this is wisdom to be pondered. And did I mention, I work at a cool place, with cool people in it?

(Plus, bonus GIP, from a set done by [livejournal.com profile] infinitemonkeys. Woo!)

Hee. Memories of sitting the the theater office, next to the workspace, and my friend Mike wanders in, asking Jenn (our Tech Director) "Jenn, will the sawzall cut this metal pipe?". And Jenn looks at hime..."Mike. It's a sawzall. It...saws. All."
