Ask and Maybe Receive?
Last night was Serenity, which was just as good as the first time. I'd intended to pay more attention to details of sets and costumes and SFX but I ended up as caught up in the story and characters as could be reasonably done in the front row of a large auditorium.
(Getting together with so many friends was wonderful. I just feel slightly guilty for all the people I'd have liked to have invited along and couldn't.)
(FWIW, I hear rumors there will be yet a third preview show in late June, so if I hear anything concrete I will jump to get tickets to pass along. I'm thinking I'll wait until September to see it again, as the music has obviously not been finished, and some of action scenes could be sharpened up....)
Anyway, I was tired enough when I got home today -- staying up late for the movie and getting home afterwards -- that I laid down for a brief nap and fell asleep pretty soundly. If it hadn't been for a telemarketeer calling, I don't know how long it would have gone on -- but it's just as well, because I'd been invited over to dinner with Larry and Malka Lennhoff near Davis, so I skedaddled and managed to arrive not too badly late. Much good talk and food ensued.
But that's not what I wanted to write about tonight. I need to commplete my set ofFishbowlStargate:Atlantis AVI files, so it occurred to me to ask here, to see if anyone can yousendit them to me. My missing ones are: #4 "Thirty-Eight Minutes", #13 "Hot Zone", #14 "Sanctuary" and #18 "The Gift". I'm all up on the others, and would not mind YSIing them in return.
You know, of course the ones that I'm missing (with the exception of "The Gift" which is still technically on my TiVo) are the ones that I really want to watch again, too. Le Sigh.d
