Morning... already bored.

I had a jacuzzi-bath this morning, which was nice, but... honestly I'd rather have a shower. At least by very cleverly arranging my laptop out of splash range, I could manage to watch an MPG of the latest Stargate SG-1 episode... except for the parts with the jets going, anyway. Then I used the shower-head-on-cord to wash my hair Just give me a freaking luxury shower with many shower-heads instead, already.

I also found out last night that the hotel's computer network won't let me stay on IRC for very long Bizarre! I'll try to figure out how to get onto dialup instead -- last night I wasn't getting any dialtone....

Well, that sucks! If it won't let you stay on IRC for long, will it let you stay on if you connect through one of those web-based thingies? (Or would that make no difference?)

BUT! I'm assuming you saw that you got bi-polyamorously recced! (And deservedly so!!!!)

Yes! I saw the recco, and I kvelled about it to H and Alex yesterday It feels especially sweet because shrift & Nestra's picks for Polyamorous have been such a great influence on why I'm so in love with DS. I'm always quite chuffed to hear that my story has pleased =anyone=, but it's so blissful to learn that I've made a hit with these particular two because of that, it's like a gold star from your 3rd grade teacher. :-)

I've (for some reason) been thinking that if I had enough money to have a place of my own, I'd love to have (in addition to the normal house) a small traditional Japanese house. It would be so cool to be able to move the outer walls to allow the breeze to come in.

Plus, traditional Japanese baths are lovely and relaxing.

But I'd want a western style one too --for everyday practical showering and to take bubble baths in.
