Strange Icon Behavior

My beetle icon seems to have been mysteriously transformed into misspamela's Fetish icon. I'm not making this up, I'm just wondering how it came about.

I certainly didn't do any icon switching around, not even in my sleep!

I'm going to wait a few hours and see if it switches back. I've got the original icon picture file stored away safely so I can put it back the way it's supposed to be... this is truly ODD!

Good if so -- it's not worth it to do a screen shot! Maybe somehow it's mis-cached in my browser, because when I go to Manage User Pictures, it's there in place of my beetle!

Huh! That's so funny. Nope, showing up as a beetle on my screen both here and on your userpics page. Computers are a strange thing.

Yesterday I made a GIP post, and I know I chose the new icon, but when I looked back later it was my default icon. LJ is acting weird.

Every once in a while my icons will scramble with everyone else's, and the LJ page won't load correctly. I log out, shut down my browser and reboot, and that seems to clear the problem. But yeah, seeing one's treasured icon on someone else's post, or theirs on yours, is just bizarre.

I'm beginning to suspect a Gaslight-like plot on the part of Livejournal....

Seriously, I'm getting the Shoe Fetish icon for my poor little Beetle on =two different browsers=. Now that is freaky!
