Now it can be revealed...

The authors for [livejournal.com profile] ds_undercover have been disclosed... and I think I was wrong about every single guess I privately made... except for [livejournal.com profile] brooklinegirl's! (I have them scribbled out at home so my complete and exact predictions will have to wait....)

Most egregiously, I had the "Gamera" story assigned to [livejournal.com profile] lynnmonster (it was [livejournal.com profile] sister_wolf) and the very funny #2 "The Price of Expedience" assigned to [livejournal.com profile] sister_wolf. But inasmuch as I was mistaking good writers for other good writers, I might be forgiven.

As for my story... so far, the people who have made their guesses public have assigned it to [livejournal.com profile] lynnmonster and [livejournal.com profile] heuradys, so my evil plan of choosing a protagonist not so much associated with me obviously played well. Oh, and I seem to have been misidentified as the author of #26 ([livejournal.com profile] estrella30 and #9 ([livejournal.com profile] mboyd, aka Pollitt) which is pretty flattering!

For the record, my story is really #15: "Duress" Which, among other things, is the only story I've ever had come in at 1000 words exactly -- I don't know how that happened, particularly because I didn't stop revising when I hit that number, as I was finishing it up at something like 11:58 AM on the day it was due.

Dude - I LOVED your story! I have my guesses at home so I'm not completely sure what I guessed for you, but I'll update later.

I remember though I guessed Alex for Duress, and loved every single word of it. What a great job!

psssst. you guessed [livejournal.com profile] sister_wolf for [livejournal.com profile] theodosia's story and said that [livejournal.com profile] theodosia wrote 32 - Holding On, [livejournal.com profile] jenboo's story.

Ahh, yes!

See - I knew Theo was the tyoe to try and screw with people, lol, so I figured her for some sort of Ray/Ray or Ray/Fraser story. She got me with the Turnbull though!

I admit I blew it -- when I saw "Ren", I immediately assigned it to Heuradys.

Hey, it was hard and I was desperate. *G* Lovely job!
