Ganked from [livejournal.com profile] ocvictor, so my Buffista friends have seen it, but the rest of you may have not:

Spider-Man 2, as interpreted by Legos

Seriously, I almost liked it as much as the movie. Especially the part with the elephant....

In other random news, I was idly thinking about The Amazing Race which I watched with great amusement last night, and about how Fraser and Ray would do as contestants... which inevitably led to speculation about a Canadian Punks team featuring Joe and Billy... (shut up, it's my brain and it can amuse itself anyway it pleases) and my perfect description of Joe Dick: a mobile disaster area, with sex appeal.

Oh god. Fraser and Ray would totally win. Joe and Billy would keep ending up in first place but having to go back and do something they skipped because Joe thought it was bullshit.

At least Joe and Billy would be used to having a camera crew recording their every move!

I thought it was going to be some amateurish but fun stop-motion on the level of tigers in Africa, but it was damn good!

Okay, so I know in the movie he jumped to Chicago -- but in the Lego version he seems to have been riding the Orange Line! Wicked!

Joe Dick: a mobile disaster area, with sex appeal

Best description of Joe. Ever.

Also? Joe would be one of those contestants who ends up getting in fights with taxi drivers... and eventually getting arrested.

Their cameramen would need hardship pay, and possibly counseling, by the time they were done....

I tivo'd Amazing Race and it made me very nervous. Did notice that almost all of them were from Texas, or the mid-west.

I will watch it for another few episodes, but if it continues to get to me....

I find it interesting that the producers aren't reserving slots from year to year for 'gay yuppies' or some other obvious choices. It will be interesting to see how it plays out....

What a great movie. The elephant was awesome.

AMAZING RACE, etc.

Hi there!

My mother loves AMAZING RACE. She watched the start of the new race in her hospital room (she got her new knee and is coming home tomorrow).

Any interest in seeing SPIDER-MAN this weekend?

Finally got around to watching the SpiderMan Lego. Awesome. Must see the movie now.

I adored the elephant.
