More Fictional Memories...

The meme is still going around my friendslist, and so I've written just a couple more yesterday and today:

For [livejournal.com profile] suelac:
Definitely that time up in Maine, on the day when it was raining so hard nobody but Java wanted to go out. You, Drew, and Ed started improvising Farscape Sock Puppet Theatre (with my socks) and Perkins and I were in stitches, and Java humorously bewildered....

For [livejournal.com profile] lnhammer:
Hmmm... I think it would have to be the poetry slam at the Vancouver Worldcon last year -- you were having such problems keeping a straight face while that gothy kid read the most gawdawful rhymes. You came so damn close to beating Haldeman, and in the bar afterwards he said you should have won....

For [livejournal.com profile] mira_jane:
If you hadn't been there, I would still think that I dreamed it, but we both saw it, so.... Anyway, if we'd left Grand Central Station two minutes earlier, we would have missed all those couples spontaneously waltzing, like in that movie. Except this was real -- I think it must have been one of those flash crowd things but I checked online and I can't find any mention of it in newsgroups and stuff. It can't have been just us, could it?

For [livejournal.com profile] lenajill:
I wasn't =there= for my best memory of you, but I did see your appearance on the Jerry Springer show -- I NEVER watch it but I was home sick that day... and as the young woman on the TV show talked about the perversions she'd encountered in the Far East, I realized IT HAD TO BE YOU! And I was right! Too bad I couldn't call up my family to tell them what had happened....

And then there was a mutation of the meme, asking for reactions to fictional fanfic:

For [livejournal.com profile] heuradys:
I have to say, the takeoff on David Gerrold's The Man Who Folded Himself was sheer unholy inspiration. Five-way Turnbull clone sex? Hotter than I ever could possibly have imagined. Talk about going boldly where one one has ever been before (or will again)....

For [livejournal.com profile] sister_wolf:
I swear it was my lucky day when you agreed to take over the Mountie Slayer stories -- they've been more twisted than ever, and sooooo hot! And really, it was about time that Calhoun had a pregnancy -- YouWon'tBelieveIt'sNotTimBayliss has had to carry the burden far too many times! I just can't wait to see what you're going to do next!!!1!

Hey, you mentioned me! (not so secretly pleased)

Hee. Me too.
