(Hmmm... I should probably include a warning to my non-Due South friends that this particular set are R-rated slash stories.)
Still working on my fiction web site... here's three that I put up today.
Series: The Adventures of Regina, Queen of Manitoba
The idea was to sketch out a virtual story and just post a couple key scenes from it. I don't know much more about drag queens than repeated nearly-obsessive viewings of Priscilla Queen of the Desert can teach me, so I don't feel qualified to write a complete story where my favorite duo goes undercover in the (completely imaginary) Canadian Drag Queen League competition.
And anyway, it was an excuse to write Ray in makeup. He's the worst drag queen in the history of queening, possibly.
Also, and this is important, the three stories don't quite add up. I changed my mind a couple of times between writing each of them, so the third written is set earlier and has Ray wearing full drag. You'll just have to deal. :-)
(PS, in my mind's eye, Miss Butchie is played by Carmen Argenziano, best known for his role as Jacob Carter on Stargate SG-1.)

Fraser could hear the voices raised from outside the purple bus, which wasn’t a good sign. Diefenbaker sat by the steps and grumbled, still angry over the doggie leather chaps that Miss Butchie had suggested he don.
"We all agreed we had to make sacrifices for the case," Fraser reminded him. "It was just a suggestion. Perhaps we can contrive something glittery for your collar." - Ineluctable 04/28/2003
"You’ll need help removing your makeup," I said. "Give me a sec.’"
"You don’t have to, I’ll be able to manage..." Fraser said as I turned away and took off garters, stockings and at last that damned pair of panties. "Ah -- Ray," Fraser said, sounding slightly choked.
"What?" I looked toward him, and Fraser turned his head away, blushing. "You’ve seen me naked before," I said. "That cherry’s been kind of popped, Frase."

"So that’s where you met Fraser, right?"
"Only for his freshman term -- oh, he was a gorgeous young thing, so repressed. Except on the stage -- he wasn’t any better at dancing than he is now, but what a singer. I understand he was quite a hit as Maria in ‘The Sound of Music’ in his senior term."

I really, really want to date Ray's inner lesbian. Gimme her number?
And, the end there? Not a good way to leave me hanging. "Never again" is not usually a place I like to go with Ray and Fraser. Besides, where's the sex? And why is the rum gone?

I knew some drag queens who went to dances. Once a month there was a 'ball' and they spent the rest of the month sewing and plotting what to wear and if they were going to enter the queen contest. One of them was the main seamstress for the others. He sewed all of his clothes, coats, suits, shirts, all of it. He showed me photographs of some of the costumes he created. Beautiful things. Silks, satins, etc.
