Saw Kill Bill Vol. 2, which was an entertaining two hours. I'm not sure I took a whole lot away from it with me, other than marveling that it took Keith Carradine so many years to find a good role, and that a number of the characters in the movie should really have talked to each other.
The cinematography was very good, there was a lot of good action, and lots of fun acting, but I really can't say the movie added up to much, or moved me more than keeping me intrigued for two hours -- which is better than some films and much TV does. Your Quentin Tarantino Movie May Vary.
Oh! There were a couple new-to-me trailers at Kill Bill Vol. 2 yesterday -- including what looks like a remake of the Japanese Shall We Dance? which had me immediately shuddering because it stars Richard Gere and -- ugh! -- Jennifer Lopez. But then it looks like they didn't screw with the story too much, and also they cast Stanley Tucci as the bald Latin dance competitor, Susan Saradon as the wife, Forrest Whittaker as a fellow dance student and it's from the same producers as Chicago... so very much a mixed bag, but unless I hear very bad reviews, I'm so there.
In the meantime you should all go out and rent the original Japanese Shall We Dance? which is a lovely lovely film. Trust me!
(Oooh, look at the time -- time to get to the grocery store before it gets much busier...)

And don't get me started on the whole Gere/JLo thing.
