Stuff 'n Stuff
I'm on page 204 of 269 -- that's right, I added yet another two pages. Most importantly, Q3 is done, and so there's only about another 65 pages to go.
Yum Yum came downstairs several times this weekend. Unfortunately it was in search of Muppet's non-renal-failure-diet food. Get this -- Muppet sincerely wants to poach Yum Yum's special food. So they're spending a lot of time and energy trying to get into places where they're not supposed to be.
I talked to my Mom a couple of times, Chumley continues to lounge in the literal lap of luxury. Except for the time when he was getting his belly rubbed, and he got so relaxed he accidently rolled off the side of the bed!
I feel like there's a little part of me down in NJ with my Mom - my love proxy or something.
Work has handed me an actual challenging programming problem. We're upgrading our Notes this summer to 6, which means that one of the important-to-users programs, which allows them to submit their T&Es electronically, has to be upgraded... and after some extensive testing, we're pretty sure that the old program, which depended on some OLE objects just won't work the same under 6... so it's up to me to redesign the application, so that it uses some fancy scripting to make attachments behave in the same, secure locked-down way that will satisfy the audit department while remaining reasonably user-friendly. It's actually kind of fun, if you're me and you like this sort of thing.
