Sheesh!
Sorry I haven't been updating here but life hasn't been dramatic or exciting enough for commentary. Just a couple of things-
* I got a $200/month raise - that's before taxes, but not complaining! (unfortunately my property taxes rose last year by $200, but at least I'm keeping even.)
* The Body Swap continues to creep towards doneness - I'm now inputting all the excellent beta suggestions & corrections and doing some final polishing. I'm now on page 92 of 265, so more than 1/3rd done. (that's DONE-done.)
* I'm trying to see how much I can get done this weekend. In theory if I managed to cut down on the tense changes in the later quarters (I swear I'm completely blind to what tense I'm writing in.) it will go a great deal faster.
* Movies seen so far this weekend: Big Fish which is maybe Tim Burton's best film since Ed Wood -- and not surprisingly it's also about a guy who dreams big and tells stories about it. That was Friday night, and then tonight, on a whim I went out with friends to see Hellboy which I thought was everything a comic book action movie should be, with charismatic, well-acted characters, big action scenes and some fantastic design for both characters and settings. I have always been Ron Perlman's bitch, and it was so nice to seem him get a lead role that let him show off his acting chops, and do it while wearing a couple dozen pounds of latex, too.
* I'm watching the bad pairing madness running through my #discourse pals. Sheesh! (Though you'll notice, I'm quick to read each one....)

SPOON!
I love Big Fish with a mad passion. Is it out on DVD? Must purchase.
Re: SPOON!
I don't know -- I caught this in a second-run theatre with veehemently, in Davis Square just down the road.
I think I've watched The Tick episodes two or three times each, not counting the commentaries that are on some.
Re: SPOON!
Going to see Hellboy on Monday. Glad to see that you liked it.
